Serving "The Kingsway" for 26 Years!
Microdermabrasion is a simple, quick and convenient procedure that has become very popular with clients showing the early signs of aging, sun exposure and other facial imperfections. The "Silkadermic" machine projects aluminum oxide microcrystals onto the skin surface which impact under pressure and gently carry out exfoliation. This procedure stimulates the production of skin cells and collagen.
It is suggested to do a series of 4-6 treatments every 2 weeks to achieve your desired results. There are three grades to our treatments which allow for slow, layer by layer abrasion to the desired layer, to induce cutaneous regeneration.
In addition to the face, microdermabrasion can be successfully used on the neck, arms and hands. It is also beneficial for patients with darker skin types.

FAQs
How long does the treatment take?
Treatments take approx. 30 minutes to exfoliate the neck and face and another 30 minutes to cool and nourish the skin with a soft gel mask.
Will I see results right away?
For some clients results are more visible than others, but your Esthetician will see the results right away if you cannot. By the next day you will see and feel your results. Your make up will go on smoother, your skin will glow and your skin will feel like butter.
Do I have to protect my skin after microdermabrasion?
Home care is very important after any skin treatment and it is recommended to use a 30 SPF all the times. It is also very important not to get a sunburn before, during or after any exfoliation treatment.
Who cannot do microdermabrasion?
Mostly everyone can do treatments except for people with active acne, roscesa and people with extreme dilated/broken capillaries.
I use Retin-A, Can I still do microdermabrasion?
I would ask clients to cease use of certain topical agents such as glycolic acids(AHA) and Retin-A a few days before treatment.
